First Birthday Help!

My wee girl is turning one and we have a large family gathering I want to make her cake today and freeze it for Friday. I want a plain cake nothing too rich so she can have some! but still moist and with a bit of hight so it looks impressive and not too crumbly so I can Ice it easily. Am I asking too much! lol anyone have a good recipe for a cake also would this cake freeze do you think!http://www.marthastewart-

I couldnt get your link to work, but if its a vanilla cake I am sure it will be fine. Put a little of the raw mixture into a cupcake paper and bake it foe 15 mins with the other cake. Then you can try it. This will allow you time to try another recipe if you want to. Actually, cupcakes would be a perfect birthday cake for a 1 year old.

Thanks for fixing that link elliehen:) I just thought that a cake with that much egg whites might not freeze very well! Thats a great idea putting some in a cupcake paper to test thanks!
