Silly question - re crockpot but it causes me prob

I am really getting into crockpot cooking.When the veges are cooked I put them in oven on grill to crisp them up.But vegies always stick to oven tray and when I remove I only get half a potatoe or kumara etc.Yes I grease the tray before I grill, any ideas.Thank you.

I am a fan of baking paper too, but for times when you don't have any... heat the tray under the grill till really hot, then, put veges in, ensure the smallest surface side is placed down (so curved side of potato etc not the flat).
