I always see so many seasonings from masterfoods or greggs...... I'm not the best cook but learning...... Just would like to know, what are your must have in the kitchen when it comes to seasonings....

Fav spice is cumin, finds it's way into just about everything (savoury).

Garlic salt. I use it on meats, in mushroom sauce. It will often "lift" something that is a little bland.

Me too for the garlic and herb salt-great on roast chicken, with crushed potatoes and butter, and also to get kid to eat veges.

Read the ingredients. better to buy the spices and herbs and make your own mixes. I dislike aniseed so that eliminates quite a few herbs. I also hate garlic. I use oregano, basil, pepper, cumin, ground coriander (NOT the leaves), paprika and bay mostly.

Masterfoods Tuscan Seasoning - fantastic on roast potatoes and other rost vegetables, roast chicken, sprinkled on Greek salad, added to vinaigrette, added to garlic butter ... very versatile.I have about 40 separate herbs and spices for their individual flavours but as a seasoning to just "shoosh" things up a bit the Tuscan Seasoning is great
Moroccan seasoning on potatoes and smoked paprika on chicken are my two favourites.

Pul Biber - Turkish dried Aleppo pepper flakes (or sometimes paprika flakes but pepper flakes are better).Stick it on everything including eggs. It's on every table in Turkey and it's sooooo good. Can't live without it!

I use Tuscan seasoning a lot too for wedges and chicken. I also love the roast lamb seasoning.

Pepper, salt and rock salt. Also use a lot of garam masala, cumin and allspice.
