Well how much do all you smart alecs pay for your pots and pans then?

For a start we don't buy potsand pans, that's what Briscoes sell, basic pots and pans.
We buy cookware, quality, durable high performance cookware, each item can be around the $130-350 mark..A full set = $1800-2500... but it will be the ONLY cookware you buy for the next 30-50 years..Oh, and within the Scanpan range, there is a huge difference in their classic range to the professional range in both quality and price

Depends on what I am buying. Henckel saute pan 28cm around $350 Infinite Circulon 28cm Skillet $184.95 Saucepans Infnite Circulon around $650 for a 16,18 and 20cm. If I was advising anyone about what cookware to buy...but the best you can afford, even if you have to put it on lay-by, it is far more economical to buy something once as opposed to having to replace it every few years, this is not about being a smart alec, its about being prudent with what you buy. So many more customers are now realising that you Do get what you pay for and are happy to go with a higher quality piece of cookware. I wont sell Scanpan because their return rate on their cokware is just too high. In saying that however, I have a small copper sauce pan which is Scanpan.

I do like the handles on my (hope like hell they see me out) Scanpans though...don't like those rounded type of handles at all
