Fabulous.

I have a juicing question here. I do appreciate that freshly made juice is preferred, but can you satisfactorily freeze the likes of peach juice for use in the off season! I was thinking not doing combinations but to combine later when thawed for use. Any experience here please!

Mmm, no reason why you could not freeze some I suppose. I always have a supply of frozen berries which I use on occasion as a nice change.

Gosh I forgot about the blackcurrants in the freezer - must use them

They would be brilliant. I cant wait for tamarillos to come back in to season. They are delicious with Granny Smith apple.you only need one or two, but they pack a real punch!

Cook. do you think you might share in one post all your tried and favourite combinations (and quantities) please! So looking forward to getting my juicer

Do you think I could use prunes that have been soaked, with other fruit!

cookessentials, Feb 24, 5:17pm
Mmm, that's one thing I have not tried.I suppose you could give it a try!

Cook. juicer arrived today, including original purchase receipt and original 25 year warranty (not filled in). On that warranty it does say "warranty stays with the ORIGINAL purchaser and is NOT transferable"
The supplier Health Products NZ phoned a couple of days ago agreeing under the circumstances to provide a lesser warranty and emailed that to me for completion. Today I phoned Ministry of Commerce to clarify the position. Since it is specified in original paperwork, THIS IS WHAT STANDS. Just thought I would clear the air for any would-be purchasers of Lex-Sun Juicers

I have to report that the juicer is a resounding success! Made carrot/apple and ginger - it was DELISH. So thank you Cooks for the combination. Had it freshly juiced with icecubes in Mum's crystal tumblers. I think just a tip for all those out there juicing - if you dress it up as nicely as possible with fancy glasses, even the less palatable will go down easier. The above combination definately didnt require any forcing. Thank goodness my kids have left home as I would never get out of the kitchen

Hi Carol, so pleased you got it and that it is juicing away for you quite happily. It makes great juice IMO and you get way more juice from your fruits and vege compared to a centrifugal juicer.
