I know there are so many of them being shown at the mo on channel nine and one. I love them. I can't believe though how rude some people are when having a dinner cooked for them by other people!

cookessentials, Jan 31, 8:39am
Yes, occasionally ( when i remember) I watch the UK one. i find it quite funny and the guy who narrates is a scream.

clevercloggs, Jan 31, 8:40am
Yeah, I love him too. I wish they would do a NZ version of it. I for one would love to be in it.Wonder who they'd get as the narrator!

kiwitrish, Jan 31, 8:42am
I do sometimes but I have to admit I can hardly understand a word that the people in the Come dine with me Ireland are saying half the time.

clevercloggs, Jan 31, 8:46am
Yeah the Irish are really hard to understand. Thank goodness for my sky so I can rewind back and listen again.
I have to laugh at some of the Pavlovas they make on the show. One of the cooks greased a baking sheet for hers and I thought, oh my god that won't work. But I was amazed that it did work - to a point anyway. In fact a lot of the time, you look at the pav mixes and think " what a cock up that will be" but low and behold, they do up with something resembling a pav it amazes me every time.

I loved the Aussie show, they were so funny. But I enjoy the otherswhen I remember to watch

poppy62, Jan 31, 8:56am
I dont watch anything Australian.

rainrain1, Jan 31, 9:02am
don't care

cookessentials, Jan 31, 9:07am
There was a NZ version which featured Rawdon Christie, the girl who does the financial bulletin on Good Morning ( cant remember her name though) and some others whose names escape me.

clevercloggs, Jan 31, 9:09am
Really! When was that on!

clevercloggs, Jan 31, 9:10am
With comments like that, no wonder people are too wary to post opinions on here.

rainrain1, Jan 31, 9:25am
Oh for goodness sake, funny how some take a comment up the wrong way.don't be so pathetic.

beebs, Jan 31, 9:31am
theres a nz'r coming on the sky CDWM on thats on6.30pm week days, its in a week or two, his name is Danny (he lives in Galway).keep and I out.

beebs, Jan 31, 9:32am
they just did it as a one off fun piece for breakfast last year.

clevercloggs, Jan 31, 9:39am
Cool. Thanks for heads up.

clevercloggs, Jan 31, 9:42am
I haven't seen a programme made in Aussie that I like.I have watched some Aussie films though and some of them are very good but give me a choice between Aussie master chef and NZ master chef, I'll go NZ all the time.

rainrain1, Jan 31, 9:55am
Oh that's a shame.I like the Aussie sense of true blue humour. Thanks for answering, even though I was asking poppie62

raine8, Jan 31, 9:58am
i watch them and love them like to see what they would cook and try to imagine what i would cook; think nz salmon something as a starter, lamb for main and something with berries for desert what would others serve.

clevercloggs, Jan 31, 10:15am
All good. :)

rainrain1, Jan 31, 10:34am
phew :-)

beebs, Jan 31, 10:46am
hes a comedian over there so should be quite funny

clevercloggs, Jan 31, 11:04am
Yes NZ salmon is so good and that would be a great choice. I think I'd go Greek or Turkish for the main! Don't know what I'd do for pud though. Cheesecake is boring.

clevercloggs, Jan 31, 11:06am
Does anyone else hate pink lamb in a roast! I don't like it over cooked for sure but I don't want it to be pink. The English are really particular about their meats it's seems. They even have calves liver undercooked. Eww!

samanya, Jan 31, 11:45am
I couldn't agree more .love the narrator, worth watching just for his comments.
I often wonder how the participants feel about his narration when the show airs.
