You can pay as much for shipping ( if not more) than the product you purchase. Customs will ping you on anything over NZD$400 including postage, so be careful you dont get caught out.

I have tried twice to use the ice-cream maker and both times the custard curdled even though I stood over it and watched very carefully so have given up. Anyone want to buy one! I think they are about $245 new, I was given it as a gift and dont like to sell but if I dont use and its just taking up space. My hall cupboard has a lot of items given as gifts that I dont use but havent tried to sell on in case the people who gave hem to me sees them listed.

The ice cream bowl retails at $249. I dont have the ice cream bowl attachment as I have a Krups ice cream machine that does a super job.

better grab one when they do I dont think I would sell it that cheap especially as it was a g ift and I hate selling gifts people have kindly bought me and pretty sure they would have paid full price for it. I would probably want $200 considering the fee tm will take off.

I think You are not using the right quanties of milk and cream for instance half and half works out to be 480 ml of dark blue top and 120mls of cream try that before giving up

I did use this, went and bought full cream milk especially as we only usually have calci-trim, I now just use the 3 bowl one and tonight made one with just cream and condensed milk it is so morish! I added smashed up crunchy bars to try and make it 'hokey pokey" we will try it frozen tomorrow.I just tasted what was in the bowl!

Smith & caughey have a store wide25% off one day sale in nov every year. I saved up and got my kitchenaid on that day. I was there waiting for the doors to open at 9am, dashed up the escalator to the kitchenaid section to buy my mixer, 5 minutes later and there are 10 of us all jostling to get one ! The lady next to me buying the raspberry ice colour had also saved up all year for hers. One older couple bought 2 - they were buying for wedding gifts. So this year I will be there at 9am to buy more kitchen aid accessories unless I manage a trip to USA before then. So if you are in Auckland its worth joining the S & C mailing list so you get notification of their one day sale.
