You do not sound like wanting to make a business out of it - May I ask why you planted them in the first place? Or did you buy the house and the trees were there?

I personally have sold all sorts of stuff on TM from fresh feijoas (very difficult) to blueberry plants and lots in between. It is not hardship - and it can give you a couple of hundred dollars a week you wouldn't have otherwise.

If you need some support on how to go about it - then I am happy to answer your questions.

I was interested but you seemed a bit over it, so I figured I wouldnt bother you.

And today while visiting a friend up Kumeu way I found some for sale on the side of the road - got 3kg for $8.

Thanks uli, I did plant them with the idea of selling the fruit but then I had two babies, we own a busy business and I do a lot of volunteer work too and I just haven't gotten around to selling or marketing them like you suggested before. I hate to see things go to waste that's why I originally asked for ideas on what to do with them, plus I love being able to give yummy things away to friends and family ;0)

That's great, yes I think I am over it - had heaps of watchers on my ad and people saying "would you courier, can I have a quote for postage etc" but the auction has nearly closed with no bids! Go figure ;-)

Uli -I see you are in whangarei too...would you like some of my limes? You are more than welcome to them:-)

Might have something to do with the postage costs you have listed??. You can get a parcel pack bubble up to 1.5kg sent around NZ for $5.50

Oh, I rang NZ couriers and that's the prices i was told for the zones/areas, didn't think of using the bubble packs! Cheers :-)
