according to the metric conversion calculator, 40 oz is 1133.980 grams, or just over a kilo.

but does poster #1 mean 4 ounces or 40 ounces? - I'm inclined to think she means 4 ounces which equals 113.6g = 28.4 x 4 or rounded up to 114g or 115g.:-))

ah - don't know, I didn't notice the way it was typed.It is usually typed as "oz" rather than "Ozs", so who knows.I daresay #1 will know if the amount they are talking about is 4 or 40 oz.
