have i got weavills in my weetbix bag amongst the the weetbix?.................there-
still crunchy and about half a 1kg box which is about 2 or 3 months old and clamped with a peg after each time its opened.Seems like there's some bits of crumbs hanging off the sides of the bag,and alot of the other crumbs jump about as if it may be a static reaction within the plastic bag itself, what do you think?

Those bags hold a lot of static energy & make the crumbs jump all over the place.

you could try sealing the bag and putting it in the freezer overnight.
then see if things still move.

weavills normally form clumps that hang to the side of product and the bags there packaged in dont they?,this is making me feel ill about consuming them so i think i might just play it safe instead of Mr scrooge.

you will probably find them in more food in your pantry, you have a bit of a job on your hands. It is unfortunate that we buy them in our food as eggs then give them a great environment to hatch. lol.

I put bay leaves in the pantry, seems to work.
