Has anyone got a recipe for a really good one. I want something different for in salads. I had a Vinaigrette that come with a supermarket salad the other day and it was yummo.

Easiest I do is just 1/3 good olive oil 1/3 balsamic vinegar and a 1/3 ginger ale with some finely chopped thyme in the bottle shake well. If you don't want the sweetness then go for 50/50 oil balsamic.

Use good quality extra virgin olive oil and good quality red wine vinegar.I usually use Village Press oil and Delmaine's red wine vinegar.

I make vinaigrette with 4 parts oil to one part vinegar, lots of sea salt and freshly ground pepper, sometimes a finely chopped clove of garlic plus 2 tsp Dijon mustard.Fresh tarragon leaves finely chopped is a delicious addition if available.
