has anyone got a recipe for the above. made it many years ago, it was yummy. Had chocolate icing on the top I think. Now my daughter wants to make some and I have long lost the recipe!

Tell us more what kind of base did it have ? was it like fudge cake or did it have a filling with chocolate icing?

Thanks everyone. All I remember was that it was quite thick, possibly more fudge than sponge. Thanks for the efforts, I'm not very good at cakey things, and even worse at pastry things but if I ever find the recipe I'll post it on the mb!

besides having choco icing, did the base have coconut?, nuts?, condensed milk?, raisins? or anything else you can remember about it?
