Would this dip work?

partner and youngest back today and wanting to have some decent food ready (cake already out the oven!). Thought this might make a reasonable dip but would appreciate your ideas: tin of tuna, mayo, dollop of Watties hickory BBQ sauce, drop of Kaitaia Fire, spring onions?

if im unsure i mix small quantities and try it, i dont know what hickory sauce is like

the hickory sauce is fairly standard sauce in a squeezy bottle but tastes pretty good and the kids like it

tuna and hickory? dunno if it'll be a fantastic combo, try and test.. i'd put the rest together though

i think it would be fine.i would probably add something for texture eg chopped celery or capsicum as tuna can be very cloying.

maybe I'll go with normal ketchup - safer, you think?

I've got capsicum so I think I'm off and away! Thanks all

either would be fine, the hickory has a nice smokey flavour.

+1we love hikory sauce in this house - use it on all sorts of things but especially nice swirled on the top of a homemade pizza before baking.
