Cous cous

My cous cous always seems to go gluggy, does anyone know how to stop this, am i doing something wrong?

bexta021, I'm not sure that you're doing anything wrong - maybe it would help if you tell us what you do / how you normally prepare the couscous.:-))

I add same amount of water to same amount of cous cous and cover and leave for about 5 mins and then fluff up with fork.but mine doesn't seem to fluff up but is a gluggy, still edible though.Sometimes I add curry powder to the water for flavour.

Put 2 Tbspn of oil in to prevent it sticking together.I also use lemon juice and chicken stock and it's lovely.
