I bought them because I love wontons and dumplings.

Wouldnt have a clue what to fill them with tho.

good old mince mix of your fav flavours that you might put into a meatball recipe, left over veg processed up with a bit of cheese and seasoning, same as for left over meat.... all of these make lovely fillings.... you can also do a chopsuey type recipe with cabbage, onion, garlic, grated carrot, seasoning - that is sooooooooooooo yum!!!

put a piece of caramello chocolate and fold, deep fry and then dunk in cinnamon sugar mmmmmmmmmmmm ok its not good for you but who cares right

oh the other thing which is really simple is chicken mince a bit of chopped spring onion and a good helping of sweet chilli sauce that always goes down a treat

Thanks for the ideas guys.

I ended up locating 250g pork mince in the freezer and added half cup chopped cabbage, 1 spring onion sprig, 1 grated carrot, 1tsp sugar, 1tbsp soy sauce and 1tbsp rice vinegar as a filler.

Did boiled wontons.....dipping in soy sauce.

Pretty good :) Not exactly pretty, but yumm

lol sorry Abbey but the chocolate ones are nice I had to share lol I actually cut up a mars bar for some and milky bar in others and I have to say the milky bar ones were the favourites.

Wonton Mince
500 grams minced pork
1 and 1/2 tsp soya sauce
few drops of sherry -optional
1 clove garlic
1 egg
1/2 tsp ginger
To pork add soya sauce and sherry and crashed garlic and ginger and egg and mix.
Put into wonton wrappers that has the edge brushed with
beaten egg and fold and deep fry and serve with rice and sweet and sour recipe

Stirling sweet and sour sauce to serve with wontons
3 tbsp light soya sauce
6 tbsp white vinegar
6 tbsp sugar
9 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 1/2 cups water
1 tsp ginger,finely chopped garlic
1 onion chopped
Boil ingredients together add 3 tbsp cornflour that has been mixed with water after the above ingredients have boiled add cornflour.
Can be frozen and reheated

your wontons are cooked when they rise to the top of the boiling water and have gone wrinkly do not over cook them as they can go sloppy and lose the body of the wrapper
