New Handles on Pots in Christchurch

katalin2, Jan 11, 11:45pm
When we shifted house before Xmas we found some French pots that are about 40 years old up in the attic that were m mums- they are in very good condition and I can use them on my induction hob- they are quite heavy, white on the outside and heavy enamelled on the inside, I know they were top of the line when my dad bought them as a present for my mum. I would like to get new handles put on them as where they are attached have come away or are loose on quite a few. Any ideas who in Christchurch would do replacement handles or even put the old ones back?

You can also put a watch on TradeMe - I got new handles for my old Murray pots from here, though it took several months before some came up.I also got 3 more unused pots - now have enough pots for the first time in my life!
