Looks like it may be a well guarded secret. I am fortunate enough to have a recipe for drambuie that afriend spent more than ten years perfecting - it tastes exactly like the real stuff.

Drambue
750ml whiskey (not a cheapie)
750 ml Monatana Muscat Sherry
15ml tincture of capsicum (chemist will sell it and watch you don't get any on your hands)
Mixed herbs (1pkt) and a bay leaf
1lb Molesworth Honey
Combine whiskey and sherry then add the tincture of capsicum. Dip the herbs quickly into this. Heat the honey till runny and add to the spirits and voila you have 1.5ltres of Drambue.
Enjoy.

Rumtoff - very nice for the winter months
Pour a litre of rum into a lidded bucket.
Add fresh fruit as it ripens (cherries, strawberries, apricots, peaches, plums, nectarines) throughout the summer. Add weight for weight in sugar and stir. Keep adding fruit/sugar throughout the season. Top up with more rum if needed. Leave for 3 months before imbibing. Note, this makes a fruity liqueur with quite a kick. Don't waste the fruit its divine over icecream, with custard etc, etc.
