Try this one. You can have it with any seafood. Seafood Cocktail Mayonaise:3tblsp condensed milk, 1tsp mustard powder, 2tsp vinegar, 2tblsp tomato sauce, 1tblsp worcester sauce, 1 cup whipped cream. Splosh of sherry or to taste, salt & pepper. Mix all together and spoon over the seafood. This should have a little bite to it, if not add a bit more worcester, mustard or sherry. Have been making this for years and was my mums. Have a good Christmas.

Hi fisher........Further to my post. Put any leftover mayonaise into a pottle and freeze. Doesn't take long to thaw out.

My Mother uses whipped cream, worcestershire sauce, horseradish and tomato sauce and it is great.

Thinly shred iceburg lettuce instead of whole or broken leaves. Iceburg is the only lettuce that retains its entire flavour when sliced. Hence the name "ice" burg. That way, as everyone will agree, the sauce will not be wasted, becuase they want more! and easier to enjoy at the end of the cocktail :-)

American best foods Mayo available in NZ?
NZ mayo tends to be sweet where the best foods is a tad salty taste and easier to add flavours to.
I throw a few capers in, a little chopped onion, maybe some garlic and a tad of tomato sauce more for colour than taste
