How do you soften gingernuts to mold in patty pans? Oven or microwave and how hot?

Just place them over the holes and put tray in a warm oven (about 100 degrees C) for 3 to 5 minutes or until they are soft enough for you to push them into the hollow with the base of a soup spoon.

Sit on top of the patty moulds. Heat oven approx 120 - 150. As they soften, press into mould. Not sure about doing them in microwave. The thinner ones are better rather than Griffins.

50/50 chocolate and cream cheese also good as a filler.

I find that the microwave is the quickest and the best. just pop in for a few seconds and they will be soft.you will quickly see how long in your microwave as they are all a bit different.

Be careful using a microwave. Ginger nuts catch on fire quite easily it turns out
