I ordered a cake from this trader last year for my daughters 21st cake, the bottom tier was chocolate and the top was lemon sryup cake, it was one of the most beautiful tasting cakes I have ever had, I would recommend this trader wonderful/she isvery talented. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Home-living/Party-festive-supplies/ Kids-parties/Other/auction-309125819.htm

Is it because it was a service - the cakes were made to order? ? ? ?

? ? who knows, but they were cute cupcakes. I may try baking some this weekend. Does the supermarket have the bright coloured dyes for icing? . What sort of icing would you use?

My guess is that TM withdrew the auction because there was no mention of the use of a commercial kitchen. Unfortunately it is illegal in NZ to sell goods you have made in your kitchen at home.
