Yeah, going from Welly may be too much of a hassle. We can leave the car in the long term park and Mum and Dad are in Waiuku, so can always camp there, however, if we wentPacific Blue, we could fly up in the AM and then fly out in the evening. The other thing I had forgotten about was days they fly and time difference, so if we flew from here fri 14th, we get in on Thurs 13th- so i think you are right in getting the travel agent involved so that we get the accomodation and timing right! Mum and dad will have to be in on it, if we stay there as I do not want him knowing where we are going until we check in. I did a surprise weekend away this last birthday for him and he was just dying to know where we were going! as all he got in the morning was his card with a wee poem I had written about secret locations and the like. he had to wait ALL day until we closed the shop before he was given instructions on where to go, so I can imagine he is ging to be very "nosey" this time around trying to figure it all out! LOL. Travel agent away today so will contact her Monday and see what she can put together.
