I have taken a cup out of the freezer that I had been adding egg whites to when a recipe just called for the yolk. Unfortunatly I dont know how many whites are in the cup - Im guessing about 7 but not entirely sure. Could I still make meringues? How could I tell how much caster sugar to add? Thanks for any help :)

Meringue Nests This recipe makes nice meringue nests as well. pipe the base in a tight circle then pipe another circle on the top of the edge. The 4 100 grams is ; 4 lots of 100 grams each.

just keep in mind, apparently they won't turn out all that well if it raining... weird, but the time I tried making them when it was raining they did turn out badly - something to do with the dampness I guess.

Interesting thanks, will chuck the dehumidifier on a few hours beforehand? Got to make them as they are out of the freezer now.

I kept finding recipes with about 1/2C sugar per egg white, which I thought extreme. Wasn't sure if you had a recipe or not lol :)
Pickles, your posts always make me smile and wonder if you speak sing-song. I just see your music notes and start reading it sing-song hehehe
