Try an asian grocer - they are brilliant for carrying all the herbs and spices that you cant get anywhere else.

I was looking some time ago and also had difficulties finding them. I ended up buying some off a trader on here.

Some of you may know the "cure" for arthritis---soak raisins in gin, leave for a week then have a raisin daily. Apparently it is the juniper in the gin that is helpful. Has anyone used them for this purpose. I don't have arthritisbut many friends do, I didn't even know you could buy them-what are you going to use them for?

Mmm, I did not know that. If you look at the link for the spice trader, there is some history on them and they are one of the ingredients in Gin anyway but I did not see anything on cures for arthritis.

Well I would change my diet if I would start having arthritis - rather than soaking stuff in gin ...

I got some from Kirkcaldie's gourmet food department in Wellington. They stock the Spice Trader product line in-store. At $7.99 it's twice the price of buying online, but obviously no delivery fee to pay!
