Kid's Traffic Light drink

Hi, Can anyone please give me the recipe for how to make a kid's traffic light drink? Have looked everywhere and can't find it.

I was just talking about these a couple of weeks ago and asked a few of my hospo friends but we couldn't figure it out. Will be watching this thread to see if someone knows as I would love to make them for a kids party in a couple of weeks.

Traffic Light Drink recipe for kids parties
raspberry cordial
orange juice
ice
green food colouring
pour small amount of raspberry cordial in glass
fill glass with ice
carefully pour orange juice down ice to prevent mixing with cordial
place straw in glass at this stage if desired
then pour small amount of green food colouring on top
good luck, had the same frustration finding this recipe, hope this helps other mums.

Is Cobb & Co still around? I remember drinking these as a wee girl - so cool! You could try ringing Cobb & Co - actually i think I used to have them at The Working Mens Club as well! I doubt the bartenders now would be old enough to remember drinking them, let alone making them! Good luck and let us know - my kids would adore these.

Contact your local Intermediate school - my kids made them in science class as a demonstration of different densities! ! ! was about six years ago, but maybe they still do it-sorry no longer have their science books but they loved that teacher

I iused to put orange juice in a glass, and run the red cordial down the straw to put it in the bottom.

Cordial is denser, so will sit at the bottom, orange juice is a lot lighter. :)

They used to make them at Valentine's too, can't remember what the ingredients were there though :)
