hope this gets to you in time. see you needed a recipe for 12, instead of doubling the mixture only increase it by a third and that will give you about 12. (made 9 so 1/3 will give you another 3 ). So by increasing by 1/3 that would add an extra 1tbs of sugar, 1 1/2 tbs butter, 1 tbs flour and 1/3 cup of rolled oats. , to the mix. doubling it will give you 18
