The fancy hard edge where pastry was joined was actually used as a handle for the dirty hands down the mines, leaving the area full of the filling free to eat. I should imagine they ate the lot anyway.

I think a lot has changed over the last 3 years, for eg comments like that are not common and now a more friendly "in general" tone has taken over , allowing for different view points.
