Has anyone made them!They can be made using a sour dough. They look nicer than ordinary pancakes

No I haven't but looking on google (of course! lol) it looks like a thin fry bread, so give it a go. They do sound very nice I must admit.

Injera is Ethiopian andmade with Teff flour, which is gluten-free.It is very sour and is steamed, not fried.I haven't made it but have eaten it in various Ethiopian restaurants.I'm not wildly keen on it and find the texture a bit too close to Wettex, but lots of people I know love it.

Ha!The first time I saw injeera was in an Ethiopian cafe in London.As well as forming the base for the communal food, extra injeera was cut into 12cm squares, neatly rolled and served on a stainless steel plate,It looked like something that belonged in an operating theatre.
I did wait a whole FIVE days for pickles to answer and then felt comfortable to do the necessary research without treading on toes.
You know how skilled I am at research ;)
