Been to heaps of fruit and veg shops and half of them don't even know what they are! Anyone had any luck finding them!

The greengrocers in Grey Lynn usually have plaintains, and most greengrocers in South Auckland will have them.Mangere Town Centre would be a useful place to start.

Out in West Auckland too in Mt Albert but not sure if they still sell there. Any polynesian shop would have it if they are in season.

I don't know your area, but pak n save in Palmy often has them, so have you tried pak n save up there! I was surprised they had them here!

Also Countdown in Papakura has them in but not all the time.
