We only had it when Mum and Dad went out, and we were left with a babysitter. I love it fried.
Now, whenever I go south, I ask my driver to stop at all the supermarkets and buy up to fit onboard the plane. Shocked to see, in some cases, it can have an expiry date of over 6 months.

It's hard to find. Used to be easy when Supervalue was around. Ohhhh.their Scotch Eggs (Supervalue) were great too.

they still sell it at Super Markets in Dunedin, must ask my son to checkfor me I miss the sausage rolls and cheese rolls of the south Island, Not as good the sausage rolls in Auckland to me any ways and only the south can make the cheese rolls, remember the loaf of bread I used to buy from frews and make home made ones yum !
