Does anyone know where I can buy gold strength gelatine leaves in Auckland!

I've never heard of 'gold strength' gelatine leaves but if they are just regular gelatine leaves then Nosh have them - I have also seen them at Pak n Save - look near the deli counter / refrigerated section at Pak n Save - some stores have an upmarket essence/vanilla extract/specialist flavourings shelves where you will find gelatine leaves.

Farro sells them (also bronze - the cheaper ones) :)
There are gold and silver strength and you can get them from Sabato in Normanby Road.

Just a little info. I have have only ever stocked silver and gold. I have not seen the platinum one here with my suppliers. Sheet gelatin comes in a wide variety of quality (and therefore strength). Platinum sheets, which are more expensive, refined, thinner, but more economical and which have a relative strength of 235 -265g. Silver can be half strength of that. about 130. Bronze is in the range of 125-155, and gold 190-220.

Oop beg my pardon - I have silver ones from Sabato but bought at Farro :) Raw material - pig skin! lol nice

Sabato import them and then sell to other retailers as far as I am aware.
