unless it is an Australian reecipe where a tablespoon would be 20 ml so would be 1 1/2 tablespoons. (Just to make things interesting.)

You're right. all my aussie books say 20mls, UK is 15mls.

Wouldn't it depend on where the recipe is from!Eg.In my aussie books, when the recipe says 1Tbls it would be 20mls.UK recipe, 1Tbls would be 15mls.

My measuring spoon says 15ml (written on the tablespoon).So it depends on your spoon, AND where your recipe is from.Although I use my spoons for my aussie recipes and they turn out fine so far.
What!! I just saw some yesterday at the warehouse.
Just have a look on your measuring spoon and use however many it takes to make 30 mls
