Orderves anyone?

I bought a grater/peeler thingy at the Fieldays in Hamilton, and it says you can use it to make interesting orderves!!
I'm guesing they mean hors d'ouevres.
It looks like a gret little gadget really, but will probably join the others in the kitchen drawer.!

I read your title and thought to myself "the spelling police are going to jump on this one". Thank goodness you redeemed yourself in the thread!

Me too! I was already on my high horse and about to officiously correct the spelling! Have had to climb down now. Guessing and great though.

That is where mine has ended up!!! Only used it a few times and then one broke. Did get a replacement blade sent though, so good service.

oops, just realised I spelled great wrong. I'm usually such a spelling warden too!!

You spelled a few things wrong, including hors d'oeuvres!

But I enjoyed the joke anyway ... and which of us is perfect?

An old schoolboy/schoolgirl howler is the translation of 'hors d'oeuvres' as 'horse's eggs' ;)
