so have you eaten it? cooked with it? got a yummy recipe for it? i ask as i see it in my local organic shop and decided i would like to try it

Yep - I grow it every year and use it in winter in my fresh mixed salads.
It is very bitter as it is a chicory - as is endive, witloof, sugarloaf etc.
Maybe not to your taste motorbo?

If you know how to wash, cut and add to a salad - then you do not really need a recipe.

I added that is was bitter as you said before somewhere that you do not like bitter vegetables.

You can also cook it in a white sauce like Dutch people do - google a recipe, as I have never done that.
