I do not drink sherry but like to have a bottle handy for cooking. What price should I expect to pay.Keep in mind it is strictly for cooking.
Many thanks.

I buy 'Ormond Rich Cream' from pak n save and use this whenever sherry is called for.

Not a sherry drinker, but I buy that one too, mostly used in trifles,or cooking, but posh enough should you have to pour as a drink.I note that that's the one behind the bar at the bowling club

sherry for cooking about $15 - $20 though can be cheaper sometimes.

In my pantry I keep a bottle of white, red and port wines for cooking and generally they are the cheap supermarket bottles (yay for screw caps) though do top them up from left overs from the table so they can tend to be generic ish.

Thanks everyone.I'm surprised sherry is that dear, especially for cooking.
Cheers.
