Soak overnight in water, drain, cover with water and simmer till cooked (about an hour). I freeze any extra once cooked. Sorry don't have a slow cooker.

To cook chickpeas in a slow cooker you dont need to soak them, it is an easy way. This works for all pulses except kidney beans which need to be soaked and hardboiled for 10 min and then simmered until cooked.
