i am making cannelloni for a dinner party tonight and using the dried cannelloni tubes. my question.....can i make the filling and fill these in advance...like a couple of hours before i cook them...or will this make them too soggy? Thank you

It will be perfectly fine. bear in mind, if you are using fresh pasta, it is soft anyway. I would make them and store covered in the fridge, then kust make the bechamel sauce and tomato sauce and do the layering just beofe you cook them.

make sure the filling isn't hot when you fill them.
