HELP!

My ginger crunch didn't work the topping didn't set it's to runny! what can I turn this 'disaster' into? any ideas fellow bakers?

scrape off and add more icing sugar

edmonds book recipe and double the topping, add more icing sugar if it looks runny

I like it done this way
Fudgy ginger crunch
cook the base about half the normal time - until it is nearly set. Add the icing and pop back into the oven for another 5 - 10 mins so the icing melts and bubbles. goes fudgy as the icing soaks into the base.
