Hi everyone i have just bought a 2nd hand breadmaking machine so i dont have a manual altho i have looked up the manual on google but could not find my answer so here i am just wondering what i would set the size on a 1 and a half lb or 2lb. Thanks so much for your help.

which breadmaker model did you get? As to which size, it depends on the quantity of product you're putting in.

i got a black and decker ultra if that helps and my bread failed so would appreciate some advice please and thanks again.

add up all the ingredientsincluding water- how much does it weigh? use the setting according to that.

I have a black and decker. the recipe i use is.... 300ml warm water 2 teasp sugar 1.1/2 tespn salt 2 tblesp oil or butter or margarine 3 cups flour, usually white or mix with wholemeal 3 teaspn yeast(red lid jar) 2 tblspn milk powder or milk put into bucket in that order, and press your bake. please let us know how you get on.
