Where would butter prices end up if we all brought margarine for a couple of months?

Exactly the same as now - or maybe higher if it was not deemed worth it to supply the supermarkets any more ... then all the butter would simply go overseas by the container load - happened 8 or 10 years ago with our lovely NZ cultured butter - not enough people bought it - so now it all goes overseas and we import the Danish butter instead ....
