I normally use some rendered down lard for my yorkies ...BUT.... have none left and its all still frozen... what else can I use in the yorkie pan to heat up before pouring in the mixture... ?????

What oil do you have fisher?Mum ( a Yorkshire lass) uses oil, usually sunflower.

fisher, our son-in-law is from Yorkshire and I have seen him use oil for his Yorkshire Puddings - not authentic I know but they tasted pretty good.:-))

I have ~ cooking and salad oil.... peanut ... olive...rice bran... soya...canola..

Well Im a chef (past long ago) and I like to use rendered down lard...authentic sort... heart is stuffed already big time :}so what a little more.. but oks will use oil this time...

gunna make a mixture of eggs milk salt pepper parsleyspring onions pre fried bacon and tomato chunks and fill the yorkies later...and slow cook till egg sets
