weezil, a couple of likely places where I'm sure I've seen bigger straws are at Payless (Plastics) Stores and amongst the party supplies at Spotlight - now I don't think there's a Payless Store south of here (Christchurch) but there is a Spotlight store in Dunedin - as far as I know there isn't a Spotlight store in Invercargill.
I hope that helps, but another thought is this - where do you do your grocery shopping? Maybe you could ask the supermarket if they can get some in for you. :-))

thankyou... ive just sent an email asking if they know where I can buy a box for home use... . if that fails I will try payless and spotlight...
