copha what is it

and as i don't have any (don't even know what is is! ) what can i use as a substitute?

I have a recipe that i am halfway through baking and found this (thought it said cocoa)

I think it is the same as kremelta, so it is solid coconut oil. Aussie recipe?

certainly is, everything else is so basic (recipe and instruction guide). So kremelta would work just the same? I have some of that! ! ! !

Kremelta (only marketed in Aus as copha) - typical ;)

The same as kremelta - hydrogenated coconut fat with soy bean lecithin - pretty sad stuff really.

Use virgin coconut oil instead and keep the stuff in the fridge then it is solid as well without the transfats.

If you are halfway through a recipe though and can't go shopping, then maybe use butter instead?
