Where can you buy (a) dried cod and (b) dried black beans in the Wellington or Kapiti areas, as used in Brazilian cooking?

We don't have a Bin Inn in Wgtn area. Don't know specifically as they are not items I purchase - but possibly Mediterranean Warehouse in Newtown or Moore Wilsons perhaps?

We shop at Asian markets every week and I can't say I have come across dried cod, but they do have dried black beans. Also, try Ontrays in Petone as they have a good Mexican selection with beans, and a lot of odd ball ethnic food.
