Jam not setting using the jam set mix

is there anyone else who has made jam using this,and it has not set.
trying to find out why my jam will not set.

Probably not boiling it hard or long enough, it is usually a sign of under cooking.

To make good jam you do need to use a preserving pan, it allows for a harder boil, better evaporation. I never bottle my jams until the jam reaches 220 deg F, [using a sugar thermometer]. You will make toffee if you cannot get a good rolling boil, going. We are moving I have 4 preserving pans. My Husband is telling me to cut back to, one.HA HA. two maybe.
