What temp did you use and how long did you cook the chicken for? I have a similar oven, I preheat @ 250C for 6 mins and put prep'd chicken on lower rack then cookfor 20 mins per 500g @ 180C, never had a problem.Maybe your oven is faulty??, Have you tried cooking anything else in it?

I didn't do a preheat or weigh the chicken as the instructions gave a time of 40 minutes total for the cook. I did it at 190c and ended up giving it 1hr 20mins. Looks like I might need to do some experimenting rather than rely on the instruction manual. Thanks for your own experience.
