Just made Iced Coffee Syrup....

Here's the recipe if anyone's interested ...

Into a big saucepan (mixture bubbles up while cooking)
1 kg white sugar, 50g nescafe granulated coffee and half a litre of boiling water. Stir together and cook until thickened and syrupy (up to 30 mins) Then add half a litre of cold water (slowly while stirring, otherwise it will bubble over) and half a bottle of vanilla essence (I used about 50 mls I think) Bottle and seal, keep in fridge. Makes almost a litre.

You only need a tbsp or two in the bottom of a glass and then top with icy cold milk etc.

ha ha, i used to have a recipe a few years back for kahlua. it was much the same as the recipe above but it also had vodka in it. i wish i knew where the recipe was, it was a goodie.
