Oh no stufed the cake up - who else

made fruit cake receipe for years - made one for the daughters wedding and it wasn't cooked properly - had to be that one.Just as well I could cut the edge bits off and had three chocolate cakes as well

Yes, have done that - usually when it's for something special too.

Yes, me too - this year's Xmas Cake seemed a bit "puddingy" and sure enough on our return from holiday the fuzzy stuff was all over it (should have put it in the fridge!!) Never had failure before that and always kept in tin in pantry!
