Hi what would be the best cake to use for a train cake, something that holds together well. A recipe would be good too lol something failsafe....

Depends how diy you want to be. I used an Edmonds butter cake mix yesterday and it seemed to come out quite firm (to be used for a decorated kid's party cake too).

I just made a large Thomas the Tank and I used a regulare chocolate cake, it came out fantastically.... Looked and tasted great...
