I know you aren't supposed to mix alcohol and anti-depressants, but wonder if that is still relevant if the alcohol cooks out?

Yes, it does, as long as boiled.

Actually I watched something about this on a mythbusters or similar programme and no not all of it cooks out approx 75% does
