Freezing Watermelon...

last year I picked out as many (most!!) of the pips and used a stick blender to mash it up...and froze it in small bags.Would like to freeze more again this year but wondering if it's just as good to freeze it in chunks...what it is like when it defrosts?I will be using it for drinks later in the year.I have a juicer, but I don't want to loose the pulp that the juicer seems to seperate :)

Thanks...

You can cut it into chunks or slices. it will be ok for smoothies, but not for eating as the texture will change.

and also if you are in your kitchen and you are eating them and wants to spit the pips out the window make sure its opened before doing it ;)

If you have the room cover a tray in gladwrap and place them on the tray to freeze first and then you could pop them into a bag, that way, they are free flow and it will be easier to get them out instead of being one frozen solid lump.
